Katy Held (P/T)
In 1998, Katy Held began a quest to help her son with hemiplegic cerebral palsy due to a stroke around birth. This led her to switch from a sales career to studying the brain and developmental movements, which can help people of all ages reset their nervous system to lower anxiety levels and improve performance.
She discovered Bal-A-Vis-X in 2001 at a Brain Gym course and soon took her first Bal-A-Vis-X course, where Bill Hubert, the founder of Bal-A-Vis-X, agreed to work with her son Oscar. In less than 15 minutes of working with Bill, Oscar was able to track a ball with his eyes without moving his head! his head, and the rest is history.
Katy sponsored Bill over 20 times, and traveled all over the country to take classes from him. Bill sanctioned her to teach Bal-A-Vis-X in 2007. Bill and Oscar had a special bond; Bill taught Oscar amazing new exercises at the breaks during the trainings, until Oscar was finally old enough to attend a complete training. He grew to become a great assistant, and can do amazingly intricate exercises one-handed. He even ended up teaching Bill a couple things.
Katy and Oscar love sharing this great program that has changed their lives for the better with as many people as possible.
